Dental Program
The dental clinic is part of the Buen Samaritano Clinic. A licensed dentist operates the clinic a half day, Monday through Friday.
A dental program was started to educate the community regarding the importance of dental care in relationship to overall health. At that time the school on the compound was annually given age appropriate dental lessons by the dentist; this was followed by students and teachers receiving a free dental cleaning and fluoride treatment, tooth brush and paste.
After three years of continued persistence on the part of the dental program parents began to respond and initiate bringing their children for dental care. The dental clinic continues to provide, low cost care for the needs and requests of the El Floron Community and to encourage dental hygiene at an early age.
