Happy New Year!

January 2, 2026

Happy New Year, Friends and Family,

We hope 2026 is already blossoming brightly for each of you. Colorado may have flowers popping if these warm temps continue (50’s, 60’s, 70’s).

Tomorrow, Richard leaves for Ecuador so wanted to get this to you since he is the FYTA mailman.

I am not sure how I expressed myself in my last email, but a few people commented, “You’re retiring from Ecuador?” I better get more sleep the next time we send an update.

No, we’re not abandoning our post until it is impossible to go --- one way or the other. And we and the clinic staff thank you for the clothes donations. Those sales allowed them to give a homemade Christmas card and loaf of ‘Easter bread’ to each water customer and to have a Christmas party for all children visiting Buen Samaritano Clinic in the past.

In the midst of drug lords, shootings, etc. Jesus Christ continues to live through YOU and the clinic and the water staff. And prayer is a great vehicle.

Dios los bendiga,

Elizabeth and Richard   <><

The Lord is Good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him. Nahum 1:7
