Good morning from Floron!
Since Mission Ecuador music team (members of Colorado Community Church) arrived on Friday evening, every waking moment has been in motion! And I wanted to share some of the blessings with you since you are part of that blessing. Saturday morning the team was up and out to practice as the youth and the water guys assembled the stage for the evening concert in Floron 8. (For me, I was awed at the coordination of clinic and church uniting to make this event happen.)

This is the group from Colorado Community Church – drummer and bass guitarist are in back.
Two other Floron church music groups performed.

Again, I was touched when I discovered that since the music teams last visit two years ago, they had decided to translate their songs into Spanish and then learn/sing them in Spanish. Richard thought there were a couple of hundred in attendance at the concert. And at the commencement, a plate of rice and chicken was served by the church youth to the audience. . . This idea evolved months ago by Pastor Meza. . . Mission Ecuador provided the funding, and Pasto Meza’s church did the cooking and serving. . . And the music group was escorted to Pastor Meza’s home where the family served dinner.
On Sunday, the team split in half and attended each of the two churches and sang two of their songs in Spanish. It is a joy to watch after the services as the congregations gather around the musicians to thank them with an Ecuadorian hug. Sunday afternoon found Chris giving Anthony instructions on the flute he had been gifted from Mission Ecuador.

Hopefully, that gives you a glimpse into the Music Mission. I discovered that since their visit two years ago the team has been sponsoring both Anthony and his wife, Beatrice, who travel to small, outlying churches and give lessons to musicians that have no means to otherwise grow in their talents Christ gave them. I found this incredible! The team will be staying at the clinic through Saturday. . . and each day will include travel, training and instrument gifting that they brought from donations to their church.
Our thanksgiving for your prayers!
